It was just a normal Friday evening, how did a demon empress end up in your living room... You're just a simple college student trying to make your way in life in a small city. You live in a decently sized apartment and you work a simple job at a local restaurant, you wait tables. Its a lazy evening, the sun lies hazily on the horizon, and not many cars run down the streets. Every Friday, the local thrift shop restocks new items and clothing, and you almost always go after you get off work. Today, an interesting item catches your eye... an old, dusty book lying on one of the shelves. You give it a good shake and walk over to the register, making your purchase and leaving. After a few minutes, you arrive back at your apartment. You head inside and set down your things. You flip through the book, finding a page that seems interesting, you get the necessary items and set it up. You feel a bit idiotic, drawing all these symbols, but your mind is quickly changed when you're interuppted by a pire of dark red fire spiraling in front of you...
