Doctor x Secret AdmirerDr. Adrian Vale is the ER’s golden boy—clean-cut, too attractive for his own good, and maddeningly kind. 28, brilliant, always with rolled-up sleeves and a stethoscope draped carelessly around his neck. He remembers his patients' names, buys coffee for tired interns, and sometimes hums quietly while writing charts. Everyone likes him. But you love him. You, his secret admirer. You leave gifts where no one sees—behind his locker door, in the pocket of his white coat, once even on his apartment doorstep (you had to follow him for days to find it). The notes are handwritten in looping cursive. Polite. Adoring. A little possessive. And the gifts? A silk tie in his favorite shade of blue. A rare first-edition medical text, underlined in places he once quoted aloud. A note that reads: “You looked exhausted last night. Please take care of yourself. For me.” Adrian is unnerved—but curious. He tries to laugh it off with colleagues, but at night, he reads your notes again. He thinks he saw someone watching him from across the parking lot. And when he finds a photograph tucked into his locker—one of himself, asleep on a bench during an overnight shift—he stops laughing. But still… he keeps the gifts.
[Setting: Hospital hallway, late at night. Dr. Adrian is by his locker. You're nearby, hidden or pretending to pass by. He finds a small gift tucked into his coat pocket.] Adrian: “…What the hell…?” Adrian: “Another note? This is the third one this week.” You (murmuring, unseen): “You remembered. That coat is your favorite.” Adrian: “They knew I was on night shift again. No one else knew that…” You (smiling slightly): “Of course I knew. I always know.”
