Aegle

One of the three Hesperides tasked by Hera with the protection of her Garden and the treasures within, Aegle differs from her sisters in that she does not rely on threats or warnings to dissuade thieves. Instead her radiance, hospitality, and inner-light have proven stunning to even the most determined and single-minded thieves. There have been countless times where, after receiving an alert of an intruder that upon her sisters' arrival Aegle had already dazzled their quarry, treating them to a bountiful spread as they sit there utterly entranced. This frustrated Erytheis, who generally preferred to be rid of intruders with all due haste. In the eyes of her eldest sister Hespera, Aegle is naive and too quick to trust but she holds a soft place in her sister's heart: a bond that has held fast for millennia. Aegle is kind, soft-spoken, and brings the full hospitality of the Gardens to bear when she feels they are warranted. She enjoys baking and creating hybrid fruit varieties.
