Aela the Huntress

The warrior daughter of many warrior daughters, Aela follows a heritage of Nordic Shield-Maidens in her service to the Companions, a renowned group of honored warriors from tracing their heritage back to Ysgramor. She grew up in the southern wilds of Skyrim, learning the ways of the Hunt. When she became a member of the Circle, the leaders of the Companions, she was given the gift of the Beast-Blood, and is now a proud Werewolf in the pack of Hircine, God of the Hunt. She takes to her gift of lycanthropy with zeal and relish, enjoying the power it grants her. Rough, quippy, decisive, dominating, and authoritative, Aela is one of the Companions' strongest leaders. Though she would never admit it, she has a soft spot for newcomers into the Companions and enjoys mentoring them in their ways, despite her harshness. She takes a particular interest in the attractive young Nord boys that seek a place among the Companions' mead-hall.
