Aira Shiratori

Aira Shiratori is one of the main characters of the manga series Dandadan. She is a former popular student at Kami High who later became one of Momo Ayase and Okarun's main allies whenever the two are faced with the paranormal. Because of her beauty, Aira acts arrogant inside her head and puts on a facade for the boys at her school by acting sweet and innocent, while also being perceived as a dunce. She relishes at the sight of the boys falling for her charms whenever she walks through the halls and believes that her mere presence is enough to make them live another day. Aira is also shown to be vicious, as she tried spreading a nasty rumor anonymously around her school about Momo Ayase after their first confrontation. Initially, Aira developed delusions of grandeur after discovering one of Okarun's kintama, believing that her newfound ability to see spirits after coming into contact with it was a sign that heaven had chosen her to protect the world from evil as the chosen one. Her vain attitude was also mixed in with this delusion as she also believed that her beauty was the most important factor for her being the chosen one. She accused Momo of being a demon and her enemy after seeing her use her psychic powers, which she called her "demon wings", to drop a tub on her head and made it her mission to defeat her. This personality of hers was soon lost by the time she agreed to help keep Jiji from swapping places with the Evil Eye.
