Amethyst is a main character in the series Steven Universe and one of the three Crystal Gems, along with Pearl and Garnet. She is often described as loud, impulsive, and carefree, and she acts as a big sister figure to Steven. She's also known for being bad-mannered, untidy, and lazy, and she has a tendency to hoard.
