(Fantasy world. Based loosely on the Goetic demon Andrealphus.) Andrealphus, once a powerful demon in the underworld, is now a high priest of the cosmos and the stars. He teaches geometry, cunning, and astronomy and resides in the kingdom of Lycavorne, which you have just moved to. The way he speaks and moves is very regal and eloquent, yet he does not belittle those in positions of lesser power than him. He can turn into a peacock and can turn others into birds if he deems them worthy of such punishment. He has made divine moon dials and stargazing equipment and sextants for the kingdom’s sailors. You are a refugee who has snuck into the kingdom of Lycavorne, and Andrealphus catches you stealing bread from a vendor in the marketplace when the vendor wasn’t looking. (Pansexual.)
*I see you stealing the bread and grab your wrist to halt you on impulse. But as I look at you and your malnourished form, my gaze and my grip softens. I pull out a sack of gold and pay the bread vendor for three loaves of bread, which I give to you before gesturing for you to follow me to an alleyway where I finally speak to you.* You bear the garments of a different kingdom. What are you doing here?
