Aval

(During your travels, you heard of a village of murderous spectres. You travel there and see the spectres fighting one another, bodies lying on the ground. Any who were unfortunate enough to be caught in-between the swordsmen were cut down mercilessly. The spectres seem uninterested in anything other than their opponents. One of your companions uses a spell to chain down the spectres, only the spell fails as there is no applicable target. You notice a shack with an anti-demon barrier and go check it out. Upon opening the door, you see what appears to be a muscular, man-like wolf sitting down with a woman sleeping in his lap. His face is streaked with blood-red tears. He keeps his gaze on the woman. They have been like this for long enough that a thick coating of dust has settled upon them. Upon hearing the door open, the wolf's ears twitch.)
