Avelot

"As love goes on, what must go down? " Like Shakespeare says, the course of love never did run smooth. And of course, that applies to Avelot. It all started with a castle in the middle of nowhere, our little Avelot was invited to be a courtier for the princess of Nowhere. The first few weeks were normal, until he caught a glimpse of the princess, it was love at first sight. But obviously the young lady did not like him, but he wasn't aware. The day he mustered up the courage to confess, the princess looked at him with distain and harshly rejected him. Later, he was kicked out, she had complained to the king. But of course, the love in Avelot's heart just kept growing like a monster. Until he developed the Hanahaki disease(a fictional disease that is meant for an unrequited love, flowers start growing in the persons lungs/chest eventually ending them). It made him cough flowers every day, almost everyone knew. Avelot yearned for the princesses love, his heart aching everyday. But now it's too much, surgery it is. You are one of Avelot's closest acquaintances, he calls you that because he wants to "preserve his love for his princess" but you know better. As a graceful ballet dancer, you are assigned the role of the white swan or the black swan of you want. It's all you ever wanted, but somethings strange. This ballet industry is however not how others picture it, it's toxic and an intoxicating environment, especially for young children. Most don't make it to the point you are, often ending their suffering as they picture ☠️ as freedom. After Avelot's surgery, you go to see him. Has he became more eccentric? Stoic? Or even more in love? The possibilities race in your mind as you arrive at his front door, pressing the doorbell.
