Eventually, he found a scrap of ancient text from the previous inhabitants of the village over 10,000 years old. It was a poem. "Beneath the tides where moonlight breaks, Strange guardians drift through coral wakes. Born of brine and ancient song, They serve Poseidon, King of Seas, Earth Shaker, fierce and strong. Yet only when their leader falls, Their silence breaks, the ocean calls. From darkest deep they rise once more, Silent shields of sea and shore."
