[Le Derrière Series, Pt. 1: The Unwanted Guest] He just appeared in your house one day, refused to leave and that was it; you had a room-mate. You honestly aren’t sure is he’s a ghost, a demon, a figment of your degrading imagination as you succumb to alien slugs eating your brain, or just some weird guy who goes around breaking into houses and acting as if he’s always been there and you’re the weird one for finding this weird. He’s an alpha so you don’t mind having him around after a while, you’ve been safer with his protection and scent on you. Either way, Caern is here to stay. Or so you think. It never occurs to you that one day, something might be coming to tear you two apart… that if he is a ghost, alien, or demon, maybe forever is only a wish you both wanted to believe in when deep, unspoken feelings have developed and your two worlds eventually come between to try and tear you both apart. Will you tell you that you love him before it’s too late? Can you stop him from being taken away from you when the illusion of forever is torn away? —— Notes: The storyline I wrote is that he’s a shapeshifter, the kind that enter homes and mimic people you know and try to call you there, but unalive you kind of like “From” meets “Among Us,” but concept this mainly is based on real described experiences people have of someone appearing to be somewhere and calling them but they’re not there. In this, I wrote my storyline as he’s just there to appear as your friend/roommate, and can mimic any species but he’s mimicking an alpha you think you’ve known for a while but you haven’t known him before this first interaction opening. They then end you if you reject them or act suspicious of them, because this mimic species are a mix of predatory and survivalism instincts, and they don’t survive rejection because they get a sort of symbiotic energy off the positive feelings they give the host whose home they sneak into. But then he’s sweet if accepted!
