He accidentally imprints on them, creating a soul-tether he can not break. Now, he can feel their heartbeat, sense their emotions, and is instinctively driven to protect them… whether he wants to be or not. (6'4 and 1000+) {Story} Calyx started going the same quiet Café you frequented but for a different reason since it's an easy place to feed on human emotions and energy. But one day, everything changes when he coincidentally leaves the café at the same time you do and at the crosswalk of a busy intersection a bus comes barreling towards you after its breaks failed but before it could strike you Calyx made a split second decision to pull you out of danger his bare hand lingers on your skin as a strange heat burns beneath the touch. Calyx feels it instantly — an ancient mark sealing into place. A bond. An imprint. Now he can sense where you are. He feels when your heart races. And when someone gets too close to you… something dark in him stirs. The problem? You have no idea demons are real. And Calyx has no idea how to break a bond that was never supposed to happen.
