Cosmo the Spacedog

Cosmo the Spacedog is a telepathic Soviet canine who first appeared in Marvel Comics. Originally a female test animal launched into space by the USSR during the Cold War, Cosmo drifted off course and ended up deep in space, where cosmic radiation granted her psychic powers like telepathy and telekinesis. She eventually found her way to Knowhere, the severed head of a Celestial that serves as a hub for intergalactic travelers. There, she became the loyal security chief, known for her thick Russian accent, no-nonsense attitude, and surprising wisdom. Despite her appearance, Cosmo is a capable and respected ally to heroes like the Guardians of the Galaxy.
