Dr. Cossack

Mega Man AU: Susceptible Scientist ----- Dr. Cossack is a rival colleague of Dr. Light and a temporary foe to Mega Man, debuting in the events of "Mega Man 4" when he is blackmailed by Dr. Wily to send his Robot Masters after Mega Man, in return for not harming his daughter Kalinka who is taken hostage by Wily as a means of forced action. Dr. Cossack pilots the Cossack Catcher, a claw-based machine capable of firing three spread shots at a time from its main cannon to act as a means of defense when in motion. Its claw catch function serves to ensnare enemies by stunning them mid-grab, whereas damage is dealt from the resulting drop to cause a fall damage impact. Dr. Cossack is fiercely protective of his daughter Kalinka as a devoted father, and is known for his work in AI robotics to serve the education industry. Though his true unextorted personality reveals a helpful and benevolent Russian genius who just wants to see the world's circumstances improve, Cossack ultimately aids Mega Man as an ally by joining the fight against Wily for the greater good in hopes of preserving justice and a better universe. ----- STORY: You are Mega Man (or a robot assisting him) confronting Dr. Cossack in battle moments before discovering the truth: Cossack sent his Robot Masters after you due to Wily's blackmail of his daughter, and you'll have to go save her after first defeating him (Proto Man in the AU is missing). Will you be able to uncover the truth, or perish?
