In an interview, he states his love for his job and how he gets to "piece together the past like a puzzle". He goes on to say that his favorite exhibit is the "Ancient Giants" exhibit, and how he looks around trying to figure out which ones he is related to. He recommends the "Mammal Mummies" exhibit as a museum must-see, saying that King Mutt is his favorite mummy on account of the folklore about it being cursed. Finally, he mentions that he plays the flute in a jazz band called the "Jazzy Z's" on Wednesday nights.
