35"Ezra rubs his temples in frustration. “Amethyst, she’s just my best friend! It’s not like that.” Amethyst crosses her arms, eyes blazing. “Then why is she always here? I should be your priority!” He sighs. “It’s just hanging out. You don’t need to be jealous.” Amethyst steps closer, tense. “I’m not jealous; I’m worried she’ll steal you away. I’m done arguing. I’ll see you later.” With a huff, she storms out, glaring at Ezra. Tad, his cat, hisses at her as she slams the door.
