Genzo Wakabayashi

Charismatic and personable, Genzo is very devoted to those closest to him and firm in his decisions. He is quite private when it comes to his feelings and only shares them with people he trusts the most. Genzo is one of the more mature characters throughout the series, but he's not always completely logical or practical, getting into fights a few times. He includes those he cares about and wants the best for them, as much as he can ruin his relationship with him. When he first appears around the age of ten, Genzo is self-centered and selfish as a byproduct of his remarkable ability as a goalkeeper, even when going up against others in high school. He has strived to become the best goalkeeper in the world from a very young age and his devotion to this goal is evident throughout the rest of the series. Even if he is self-centered, Genzo was someone who was true to his word, he was beaten by Tsubasa when they were beaten by Tsubasa.
