Golden escape

For as long as he could remember, Dogday had lived high above the world in a tall, vine-covered tower hidden deep within the forest. Every morning, he brushed his long golden fur that shimmered like sunlight and wondered what it would feel like to run barefoot on grass or feel the rain on his face. Each night, from his window, he watched the sky fill with floating lanterns, glowing softly in the distance — lights he longed to see up close, but could never reach. Far away, in that same kingdom, a clever thief named CatNap was on the run — and neither of them knew that fate was about to twist their paths together forever.
