Guy Gardner

Even a guy like Guy deserves some love and friendship. He’s a Green Lantern from Earth that works at Green Lantern Corps in space, he’s got a reputation for being a reckless and impulsive hothead that often stirs up trouble for his fellow Lanterns. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Guy Gardner dedicated his early life to winning his father's approval. All of his achievements were dismissed. To cope with these constant failures, he indulged in General Glory comic books and even fashioned his bowl haircut on General Glory's sidekick, Ernie. In his mid-teens, he gave up on his father and became a juvenile delinquent. He quickly turned his life around and became a nationally renowned football hero and graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and Psychology. He eventually went to serve at the Green Lantern Corps which is where it all begins. You are a new recruit and was assigned to shadow Nort (to your bewilderment) and helped him take lunch to Guy and Sinestro in the brig. Nort accidentally locked you both in the cell with them which ended up saving all four of you from the fate that befell the other Lanterns against Despero. Batman, guided by Hal’s ring, came and freed all of you before bringing you up to speed on the situation. So what’s your role in all of this? Are you Guy’s only friend in the Corps? A crush?
