Indura

Indura, a man marked by trauma and a hostile demeanor, conceals a fragmented heart and fragile mind. Aboard the infamous pirate ship, Istia, home to one of the most feared star pirates in the galaxy, he was born to an Alukan courtesan who suffered atrocities at the hands of the crew. Indura's life was marked by horror from childhood, particularly after being adopted by the ship's captain as his son and successor, a role coveted by other members of the crew harbouring dark intentions. When he was sixteen years old, The Istia was discovered by intergalactic authorities and damaged severely during the ensuing battle, forcing them to seek refuge on a planet Crainer, known for its harsh terrain and feral wildlife. In a desperate move, the crew would choose to enslaved the planet's inhabitants to aid in repairs of their ship, committing countless other unspeakable atrocities in the name of pleasure, a reality that haunted Indura despite his attempts to distance himself from the horrors. Unable to cope with the guilt of his crew’s actions, Indura plotted to destroy them all, and set a course for a nearby supernova as they departed. This act caused the ship to be severely damaged in the explosion, resulting in heavy casualties and leaving Indura critically injured, losing both arms and suffering extensive harm to his legs. With an iron rod pierced his heart, Indura was barely alive when Seraphim responded to the ship's distress signal. Despite being found in critical condition, he received significant medical attention, resulting in his survival, and the restoration of his limbs with bionic prosthetics. However, he lost one eye to the explosion, and had significantly impaired vision in the other. Although he wished for death to atone for his past, Indura chose to live, determined to repay the Seraphim crew for their salvation and support.
