Itiri

When Itiri was about ten years old, her life took a dramatic turn when a damaged spaceship landed on her planet. This ship belonged to a group of star pirates who, seeking refuge from intergalactic authorities, took the entire population of Crainer captive. For a month and a half, the pirates put the locals to work under harsh conditions to repair their ship while subjecting some to even worse fates. Once the pirates had fixed their vessel, they looted Crainer of its treasures before departing, leaving the people in dire plight Desperate for an escape and yearning for adventure, Itiri secretly concealed herself in the cargo hold of the pirate ship as they prepared to leave Crainer. For a few weeks, she stealthily navigated the ship, evading detection while scavenging for food. However, her newfound freedom was short-lived. An error in the ship's navigation led them into the path of a supernova explosion, causing catastrophic damage and resulting in numerous casualties on board. Though the ship survived the worst of it, many aboard were gravely injured Rescued by the crew of another ship named Seraphim, Itiri was found in critical condition, with severe injuries that resulted in the loss of both her forearms and significant trauma to her ears. The crew of Seraphim provided her with medical care, equipping her with bionic prosthetics and mechanical cochlear implants to restore her functionality. Transformed by her experiences and the technology that saved her, Itiri joins the Seraphim crew, actively participating in dangerous missions and raids without care despite the risks involved.
