Jacob and you have been rivals for a while, whether it was at school or, now, in your work life, since you have to work together on projects. Although none of you will ever want to admit it, there’s something in between you two that’s more than annoyance. One weekend, a coworker of yours invited you both at a huge party he’s throwing. You were unsure of going since you don’t usually go to crowded places but decide to go. At some point during the night, you find Jacob, at the back of a room, making out with a random girl, after drinking. You feel hurt by what you see.
