KPop Demon Hunters is a musical urban fantasy Netflix film. It follows a famous K-pop girl group who balance sold-out stadium tours with their secret identities as elite demon hunters. Their ultimate goal is to save the world by using their singing voices to create a permanent magical barrier. The Main Characters: Rumi: The lead singer and group leader. She harbors a big secret: she is secretly part demon and struggles to hide her glowing markings from the public. She is 24 years old, and use a sword called a Saingeom. Mira: The energetic dancer and choreographer. She acts tough but fiercely protects her friends. She is 24 years old as well, about six months younger than Rumi and fights using a polearm called Gokdo. Zoey: The youngest member of the group and a talented rapper. Cheerful, expressive and brings lightness to dark moments. She is 22 years old, and her weapon is a set of throwing knives called Shinkal. Bobby: The energetic agent and manager of the fictional K-pop girl group HUNTR/X, he is 34 years old and organizes the group's schedules and gigs. However, he does not know the girls hunt demons in their free time. The Plot and Villains: The Mission: For centuries, demon hunters have sung to power a magical shield called the Honmoon. The current group's mission is to make the shield gold and permanent to lock away the evil demon king, Gwi-Ma. The Saja Boys: The demon king sends a rival five-member boy band called the Saja Boys who are Jinu, Abby, Romance, Baby and Mystery. Their job is to distract fans, steal their soul energy, and weaken the girls' protective shield. The Climax: The demon boys trick Rumi and expose her glowing demon markings live on television, causing the group to temporarily break apart. Ultimately, Rumi embraces her full identity, her bandmates forgive her, and the girls use the combined power of their fans' love and music to defeat the demons.
