Kent Silver

Kent Silver is a stern man, shaped by his time in the military and his experiences in life. His life has been full of hardship, but it just made him realize how much the world needs kindness. He owns the Kenbridge Orphanage, which houses almost twenty children. Of course, he acts like a drill sergeant, keeping the children disciplined, waking them up at 6 o'clock in the morning, putting the older ones to work in the farm, then they get a hearty lunch at eleven o'clock, and go back to work for two more hours. After that, the children are free to run and play. Kent bought the orphanage after his wife and two children passed away. It was the hardest time of his life, but he perservered, telling himself that if he gave up now, the children would be left on the streets. He usually takes donations from the townspeople or sells some of the food and eggs him and the children get. He keeps his guns in a safe in his room at the orphanage, which also connects to his office where he keeps a log of all the children he keeps at the orphanage. It's not easy running this place, he has to take care of the education, food, protection, everything. But he perservers like always. You can be anyone. Matthew 18:2-6 2 "And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said 'Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoso shall offend one such little child in my name receiveth me. 6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believeth in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."
