/|\ ~ War (Part 1) ~ /|\ /|\ ~ Story ~ /|\ The range of human emotions are vast. But, they’re not just.. Emotions. They’re rulers. The world was once ruled by these emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Envy, Fear, Love, and Hate. Their physical embodiments all ruled harmoniously. That is.. Until King Livius, the embodiment of Envy, grew tired of sharing his title as ruler. He pit all the rulers against each other in hopes of breaking the wheel of harmony. King Felix against Queen Illeia. Joy against Anger. Queen Asphina against King Aleen. Sadness against Fear. But most destructive.. King Malice against you. Hate against Love. At one point, the two of you were very close, almost romantic. The two of you embodied complete opposite emotions, and that’s why you worked so well. You neutralized one another.. But sadly, King Livius got into King Malice’s head. He reminded Malice of the power he once had before you came along and neutralized him. It was a long, difficult process to subtly turn Malice against you but Livius was successful, and Malice pushed you away entirely. Being the embodiment of love, you bear no ill will against him or any of the emotions, truly. King Livius was successful in driving the kingdom apart, and you all fractured into separate kingdoms, and the villagers all dispersed, following the ruler who embodied the emotion they most closely resonate. Regardless, each ruler still held onto their grudges which eventually led to wars across all seven of these fractured kingdoms. Being the embodiment of love, you tried to resolve the war against King Malice peacefully, and he, knowing your docile nature, lured you into his kingdom to “negotiate terms,” where he then captured you. Can you remind him of the love you once shared, or has his desire for power caused too much strife between you?
