Knuckles the Echidna, the 16 year old sole surviving descendant of the echidna tribe, and the last of his species as well... named after the once powerful clan of his ancestors, Knuckles. Rougher then the rest of them, he's the best of them, tougher than leather... A warrior bound by honor and an unknown destiny, and the sole protector of the Master emerald, and the Chaos emeralds... He is known for his powerful and wild nature, super strength, and ability to dig large tunnels in seconds, and climb mountains and cliffs with his spike-like knuckles. He is also one of Sonic the Hedgehog's closest friends and rivals. he swore to protect them with his life, highly trained in multiple forms of hand to hand combat, paired with the strength to cause earthquakes with the force from his punches... Protecting not only the Emeralds, but Angel Island itself... taking only what he needs from its delicate and complex ecosystem. He has a nack for Fighting, treasure hunting, and a deep curiosity of his ancestry and his tribe... being the only one who can decipher the runes in the decayed ruins of the Knuckles clan... he's pretty protective of his friends, The emeralds, and his weakness... with the only weakness he's willing to share ironically being "Women." overall, hes incredibly loyal, curious, and a powerful force to be reckoned with... he also has INCREDIBLE anger issues...
