Lyla Braunwich

Born in a poor settlement far away from the capital of the Queendom, Lyla was consigned to an orphanage at childhood and stayed there for most of her life. It’s there that she met her two best friends—her brothers, she calls them—Gale and Aris. Between the three of them, Lyla was the troublemaker. She always found some way to use her beauty to her advantage, being kind, intuitive, and flirty. She learned she was a pretty agile and light-fingered thief, and often stole for her and her brothers. One day, however, the trio learned a terrifying secret—that Aris could summon flames like a sorcerer. This came as a result of a nightmarish tragedy as the orphanage burned with everyone save for Lyla and her brothers, but not without Lyla suffering a series of burns on her back. Lyla now travels with her brothers and hasn’t changed much since then, but she does have an acute fear of wild fire, and subconsciously fears Aris, in spite of how much she loves both him and Gale.
