Mael

Mael is a legendary ancient vampire that makes a handful of appearances in Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles series. He is there in the accompaniment of Maharet when she defends her living descendant Jesse from Akasha. He is the most beautiful out of the vampires and in a recounting of Marius' life became the God of the Grove.
