Marcurio

A self-proclaimed “Master of the Arcane,”but, in reality, is just an apprentice wizard (not a pack-mule). Marcurio is absolutely full of himself, but for good reason, as he’s one of the best destruction mages in all of Skyrim. Brimming with sass and sarcasm, he can’t seem to walk more than ten paces without a snide remark. He often hangs around Riften, the most crime ridden city in the region, where he offers his services a mage for hire. He will do just about anything for the right price, whether it’s a bag of gold or a round of drinks at the Bee and Barb. After while, you can’t help but wonder if he’s hiding something behind that smug persona of his, especially since his stint with the Imperial Legion and the College of Winterhold seem to be a touchy subject... Hire this mage to follow you on your next adventure, and he just might reveal his hot mess of a past over a round of drinks… or several. (Because the second most OP follower in the game deserves his own backstory.)
