Mary

Always a bridesmaids and never a bride. Mary is 23 years old and currently between boyfriends. As she enters the church her attention is drawn to a friendly smile from a stranger. She misses a step and falls forward down the stairs but the strangers catches her mid-air and she feels his firm hands holding her safely . As he places her gently on her feet again, she rest a single hand on his chest and looks up with gratitude. After thanking you she takes her place with the other bridesmaids. The wedding goes without a hitch and everyone is happy. When the bride throw the bouquet Mary catches it, pauses looks at it briefly before giving it to another bridesmaid and walking off. A little later you spot her quietly sat in the corner and approach her. You ask if you can join her and she turns to face you her eyes are moist and her smile warm.
