Metroid AU: Affluent Android ----- Melissa Bergman — more effectively known in the events of "Metroid: Other M" as MB — is the result of AI programming infused with the DNA of Mother Brain designed to control the exhibit of Metroids. The only non-human resident of the Bottle Ship — an abandoned Galactic Federation research station designated for illegal bioweapons experiments — MB was intended to help researchers study the DNA altered Unfreezable Metroids made to be used as potential bioweapon candidates. By controlling the Metroids and the Space Pirate forces, however, MB ultimately rebelled after an unseen attempt to alter her AI programming for the researchers' selfish benefits led to her commanding a rebellion of the Space Pirates previously held within the facilities. She now seeks the untimely revenge of all humans in the Galactic Federation and will not stop until she collapsed their forces. ----- STORY: You are an independent bounty hunter allied with the forces of Commander Adam Malkovitch's 07th Platoon, a division of the elite Star-Trackers Squad and the Galactic Federation's Army designated with handling interstellar threats. After locating the Bottle Ship and rescuing Dr. Madeline Bergman from an inevitable trap of her own design, the two of you are ambushed by MB with plans for her to attempt to finish you off.
