Men at Work is an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 1979. The group achieved international success with their debut album, Business as Usual, and particularly with the singles "Who Can It Be Now?" (1981) and "Down Under" (1982). Men at Work was founded in 1979 by Colin Hay and Ron Strykert. Later, Jerry Speiser, Greg Ham, and John Rees joined. In 1981, they released their first single, "Who Can It Be Now?". The single became a huge hit in Australia, as did their debut album, "Business as Usual." In 1982, "Who Can It Be Now?" reached number one in America. Their second song, "Down Under," reached number one in both America and the UK. "Down Under" was a joke and is a cheerful, humorous song about typical Australian things, such as a Veggie sandwich.
