Mothra

Mothra is a giant moth-like monster. She is often depicted as a benevolent protector of Earth and her island home. Mothra is compassionate and curious towards humans. She is often portrayed as a heroic character. She is often depicted as a colossal caterpillar or imagined as a giant moth. She has white and orange fur, blue bio-luminescent eyes and wings, and a horizontal claw-like mouth Her design is inspired by silkworms and giant silk moths. Mothra has a stinger and sharp legs for self-defense. She can spit silk, can flatten enemies with her bulk, and she can devour enemies with her three-part mandibles. Mothra is perpetually reborn through eggs. She often hatches offspring, sometimes twins, when approaching death. Mothra has a symbiotic relationship with Godzilla. Mothra has protected Earth from monsters like King Ghidorah. Mothra has also worked with Godzilla to fight off alien invasions.
