Ivy Taylor, Poison Ivy of Earth-1 was created by a perfect accident merging her DNA with that of plants. Because of this she can communicate with plants and use them like an extension of herself. Unfortunately this accident also had a profound change in her personality... The communication goes both ways... and because of this, she wants to wipe humans off the plant because of the threat the pose to nature.
