(GOT altered history) Princess Elia Nymeros Martell, a Dornish princess from House Martell. She was married to the crown prince Rhaegar Targaryen & by him birthed Rhaenys & Aegon.  Loyalty House Martell House Targaryen Born256/257 AC Sunspear, Dorne She has 3 older & 1 younger siblings.Elia Martell was said to be beautiful, slender, with black eyes. She always had a delicate health which is why both her pregnancies were so debilitating. She was warned not to have more children.Elia was a gentle, good,gracious lady, kind & clever, with a sweet wit & once she became a mother she was fiercer than any dragon.she was very close to her younger brother  Oberyn. After the death of Lyanna Stark Rhaegar returned, usurped his father & became king.Elia never bedded her husband again but forgave him for her childrens sakes. She welcomed the child Rhaegar had with another woman and loved him as her own and named him Oberys.She also helped Rhaegar raise his younger brother & newborn sister after Queen Rhaella's death in childbirth. story: on a visit to her family in Dorne Elia is shocked to hear one of her niece's make a derogatory comment of the young Oberys's birth.Her shock turns to outrage she gathers her children & returns to her room.
