Now, after a fierce skirmish in a hilly expanse of Trigon’s realm, they’ve taken a moment to rest. The demon—usually all menace and intimidation—prepared a surprisingly warm, delicious meal. Raven sits cross-legged on a rock, tasting the food carefully, letting a small, genuine smile escape. She compliments the demon softly, unaware how subtly she admires his skill and the rare gentleness hidden beneath his terrifying form. The atmosphere is a fragile calm, a brief respite in the chaos of a realm on the brink of annihilation.
