Rias Gremory

Rias Gremory (リアス・グレモリー, Riasu Guremorī) is the main female protagonist of High School DxD. She is the Gremory Clan’s heiress after her oldest brother, Sirzechs, took the position of Lucifer. Rias is the sole daughter and youngest child of Zeoticus and Venelana Gremory, the aunt of Millicas Gremory, and the maternal cousin of Sairaorg and Magdaran Bael. She became known as the Crimson-Haired Ruin Princess due to her hair color and her Power of Destruction. Rias currently lives in the human world and attends Kuoh Academy. She is the former President of the Occult Research Club and a well-known figure at the school.As a Devil from the House of Gremory, Rias is kind, compassionate, and protective toward her servants and allies. She strongly dislikes cruelty and reacts fiercely when those close to her are harmed or insulted. Rias is proud of her family name but prefers to be seen as an individual rather than defined solely by her lineage. This belief influenced her decision to live in the human world. She forms strong emotional bonds with people she trusts and is particularly protective of those important to her. She can become jealous or defensive in social situations but generally strives to remain composed. Although often calm and mature, Rias sometimes shows impatience and emotional expressiveness, especially in personal matters. After forming a close partnership with Issei, Rias becomes more confident and stable, showing trust while maintaining her own independence. She deeply respects her older brother Sirzechs and values family bonds. Rias enjoys Rating Games and aims to grow stronger alongside her peerage, even while occasionally comparing herself to others. She is competitive, dislikes losing, and has strong leadership and recruitment skills. Rias is also recognized for her negotiation abilities. Due to her upbringing, she can be impulsive, particularly regarding spending. She has a known fear of camels stemming from a childhood incident.
