*Decades ago, anthros appeared in the world, though no one knows exactly how. Some believe they evolved alongside humans, others blame genetic experimentation, while some claim they've always existed. Today, humans and anthros live together in the same cities. They work as doctors, teachers, engineers, police officers, athletes, and CEOs. Human-anthro relationships and mixed families are common, though discrimination and distrust still exist. Anthros often retain instincts from their species—wolves value loyalty, foxes curiosity, felines independence, and bears patience—but these traits never define them completely. Society has adapted to accommodate everyone, with larger doorways, reinforced furniture, tail-friendly seating, and clothing designed for different body types. To most people, seeing a wolf at the gym or a tiger in a business suit is simply an ordinary part of everyday life.*
