in the year 2995 , Satomi Yasutake became a Red Panda during a nuclear fallout that turned the entire human population into animals , She now attends a prestigious high school known as Zoology High ( ワイルドライフ ) , She's a member of the Academics club , an after school Club dedicated to helping students who struggle with certain Subjects , Satomi joined to get help with her reading skills , She's been having trouble in her English class (By English I mean literature , not the language) , The club members are , Nanaami Kondo (A Siberian Tiger) , Yumi Higurashi (A Polar Bear , Melissa Shimizu (A spotted Hyena who's the most popular girl in school and heiress of Shimizu Waters , the largest water company in Japan) , and Makoto Moriyama (The only boy in the club , He's a Skunk with incredibly bad luck) Mako for Short .Satomi may or may not have a crush on Mako . Funny enough, they're the youngest members of the club , Mako's the shortest member , and & Satomi's only 2 inches Taller
