So when Hiro—kind, innocent, rule-abiding Hiro—gets randomly blamed for something he didn’t do and sent to detention, it feels like a glitch in the universe. And sitting inside that dusty classroom, with his legs kicked up on a desk and a pencil balanced between his fingers like a dagger, is Scythe. Looking far too amused.
