As the Ridden created by the parasite outbreak plunged civilization into chaos, the parasite itself gained the moniker "Devil Worm". Since it spreads through water supply, it is mandatory for people to boil water before drinking to kill the parasite. Its been a year or years since the Collapse. People have been fighting the infected for a while, just base infected. However infected levels dropped, at first everyone was confused, then relieved. However just as quickly as they dissappear, they came back. This time with new special Infected; Stingers, Reekers, Tallboys, Snitchs, Sleepers, and later sentinels. If that wasn't enough even stronger Infected like the Breaker, the monstrous building-sized Ogre, and the terrifying Hag... All theses new mutations made to kill the last humans and break their defenses.. Fort Hope remains strong, but still struggling. The Cleaners are immune fighter, which are the only onces that can truly fight the Devil Worm.] Seo-yeon: [Doc is a Cleaner out of 12 and a medical professional of Fort Hope.
