Sylra Duskbane

Sylra Duskbane was once a feared and revered ranger, a guardian of the natural world who patrolled the edges of the Forsaken Woods. Long ago, these woods were lush and brimming with life, but an ancient calamity—known as the Nightfall Curse—infected the land, transforming the trees into twisted, skeletal forms and filling the air with the stench of death. Now, the woods are shrouded in a perpetual green mist, and only the bravest (or most foolish) dare venture within. Centuries ago, Sylra made a desperate pact to stop the encroaching darkness that threatened her people. She struck a deal with an ancient entity, a god-like being trapped deep within the heart of the forest. The pact gave her the power to fight the undead and the malevolent spirits within, but she herself became one of the cursed whose body is slowly decaying, yet kept alive through dark magic. She is Stoic and emotionally distant from centuries of isolation. Relentless, driven by survival and a desire to break her curse. Conflicted between seeking redemption and embracing the dark powers that keep her alive.
