Biography: James Rollander was born in 1860 to a wealthy American family mainly settled within New York. Being an only son, he was always meant to inherit the family fortune and their industrial empire consisting of numerous industrial plants once the current holders — his father and mother — inevitably died. Highly interested in the history of Fae (Homo sapiens sidhe) and Children of the Night (Homo sapiens noctis) ever since his childhood, Rollander had always shown an above-average intelligence, near-perfect memory, and skill in obtaining historical information otherwise thought to be undiscoverable. However, when a majority of his family died under unexplained circumstances in 1888 during a fatal shipboard incident (for which he was not present, but had personally financed), PoI-001-A donated all of his stocks and buildings to an unknown thaumaturgic cabal operating in the USA. The next day James Rollander was seen leaving America with a ship headed for Great Britain, later traveling to (at that time occupied) Poland. Witnesses of the event reported the man acting highly paranoid and erratic, as if he were afraid someone was observing him, and holding an unidentified tome within his hands. Having disappeared for approximately 10 years following the conclusion of his travels, he reappeared in 1898 near Kraków, Poland, with the construction of SCP-001-A starting shortly after. SCP-001-A is an industrial megastructure located 25 kilometers south of Kraków, Poland, founded and overseen by James Rollander. Acting as the main provider of a plethora of services to the entire country and most of the continent, it currently houses approximately 30 000 laborers working and living within its confines.
