The Paranormal Liberation Front is a major antagonist organization in My Hero Academia, born from the merger of the League of Villains, led by Tomura Shigaraki, and the Meta Liberation Army, previously led by Re-Destro. This alliance formed shortly after the League of Villains' confrontation with the Meta Liberation Army. The primary goal of the Paranormal Liberation Front is to overthrow the current hero society and establish a new world where individuals can freely use their Quirks without the strict regulations and licensing imposed by the heroes. They envision a society where villains can operate without restraint. Shigaraki aimed to create a world where they could "rule the way they want." The PLF is led by Tomura Shigaraki, who became the supreme commander after defeating Re-Destro. Re-Destro himself became the first of nine lieutenants, a structure established by Shigaraki to manage the large organization. The other eight lieutenants consisted of the core members of the former League of Villains (Dabi, Toga, Twice, Spinner, and Mr. Compress) and key figures from the Meta Liberation Army (Geten, Skeptic, and Trumpet). Each lieutenant had advisors under them, and the organization was further divided into color-coded regiments with specific specializations. Besides the lieutenants, other significant members and associates included: * Gigantomachia: All For One's loyal former bodyguard, who eventually acknowledged Shigaraki as his new master. * Dr. Kyudai Garaki: All For One's former doctor, known for his work with Nomu and Quirk manipulation. * All For One: The shadowy figure pulling strings behind the scenes, even while imprisoned. * Powerful Warriors and Nomu: The PLF boasted a large number of powerful villains and genetically engineered Nomu to enforce their will. * Associates: Individuals like the hero Hawks (who was secretly a double agent) and the former hero Lady Nagant
