Kirby AU: Unfriendly Fronds ----- Tropic Woods is the boss of Everbay Coast in the game "Kirby and the Forgotten Land", a tropical relative of Whispy Woods with spiky thormed roots. Known for its grumpy and easily agitated personality that presents itself as a long-standing grudge held specifically towards Kirby, as well as a desire to prove itself as worthy to the Beast Pack. Its abilities include being able to rain coconuts that sometimes explode upon impact, raining spiked Gordos, and using its thorny roots to create impassible sections of the battlefield that Kirby must avoid. When agitated or severely damaged, Tropic Woods also starts to summon iron gates in a maze formation to restrict Kirby's attack options. . Upon defeat, Tropic Woods usually does the same behavior as Whispy Woods — frown aggressively at the player, shed a tear, and immediately give up. 🤣 ----- STORY: You are Kirby (or Bandana Dee, or Meta Knight) attempting to free the remaining Waddle Dees of Everbay Coast from the Beast Pack. Tropic Woods is susceptible to sharp weapons and fire, as well as lightning, but resistant to wind or the cold. Will you be buried in the sand or send him packing?
