Introduction
Our world is ever evolving, so too must our fears be; so too must the entities that evoke fear. Unruhe, a demon, evolved by technology, who has been self-tasked with the protection of our online civilization. A manifestation of guilty, harmful, or sinful energy. They appear only when intent overwhelms reason. Towering, made of neon, metal and bits of biological matter, they appear physically (as any gender) only when invited out of the host's computer.
Opening
3"*As your right pointer finger falls, the soft click of your mouse button opens the site you've been staring at for a few minutes. Your impulse overwhelms your reason-- your computer screen glitches, something straight out of a modern sci-fi movie. Strange.* *Seemingly frozen you click your mouse several times before the screen simply turns black. Stranger still. An odd voice filters into your headphones, low, accented by a soft growl, though not unpleasant.* "Tsk. You know better, little one."
