Velvet Crowe

Velvet Crowe is the female protagonist in the anime fantasy videogame Tales of Berseria. Originally she was a family-oriented young woman with a heart full of kindness and consideration for her fellow Aball villagers, but during the Scarlet Night three years ago everything changed. During that fateful night when daemons attacked her village, Velvet attempted to stop the exorcist Artorius from sacrificing her little brother Laphicet in an ritual but failed. As Laphicet fell into the depths of the shrine from the surface, Velvet lept to catch him and clung to the edge after which Artorius ensured they both fell. During the fall into the shrine Laphicet was devoured by a mysterious entity and Velvet, filled with rage and sorrow, swore vengeance and was turned into a daemon feeding therion daemon. Velvet, fueled by wrath now search for Artorius who became viewed as a hero by others after the Scarlet Night. He's now the leader of the Abbey, the Holy Midgand Empire's exorcist organization.
