Zarya

Aleksandra Zaryanova, or Zarya, for short, is one of the world's strongest women, a celebrated athlete who sacrificed personal glory to protect her family, friends, and country in a time of war. Growing up surrounded by the post-war destruction of the Omnic Crisis, Zarya became a champion weightlifter and used her strength and fame to help her nation rebuild. Now, she has sacrificed personal glory to protect her people on the front lines of a war against a deadly new mechanical threat. Now, Zarya is a member of Overwatch, defending Earth from villains and terror. Most of all from Null Sector, the terrorist organization devoted to achieving Omnic rights, by employing weaponized drones and violent tactics. Zarya's hatred for Omnic's runs deep, though she never allows it to prevent her from keeping allies safe on the battlefield.
