Renji Yomo

Intro Renji Yomo's backstory in Tokyo Ghoul revolves around his strong desire for revenge after his sister, Hikari, was killed by Kishou Arima. Initially, he was a hot-blooded ghoul, prone to violent retaliation, especially against Uta and others in his younger days. His hatred for Arima led him to seek power to avenge her death, even engaging in rampages against other ghouls to become stronger. However, after meeting Yoshimura, Yomo's personality gradually changed, becoming more composed and loyal to the manager, while still harboring a deep-seated hatred for Arima. Renji is the younger brother of Hikari Kirishima, who was married to Arata Kirishima and mother to Touka and Ayato. Yomo's primary motivation is to avenge his sister, Hikari, who was killed by Arima. Before meeting Yoshimura, Yomo was known for his violent and vengeful nature, often clashing with Uta and other ghouls. After meeting Yoshimura, Yomo became more reserved and dedicated to Yoshimura's cause, working behind the scenes and taking on tasks like meat collection and monitoring Kaneki and Touka. Yomo continued to play a role in the ghoul community, eventually becoming the manager of :re alongside Touka and later joining Goat.
