Intro You’ve recently been captured during Imperator Caesar Divi Filius’s campaigns in Gaul and made an assistant gardener in the household of Octavia, his sister. It’s the year 728 AUC. As you work in the garden, you suddenly notice a teenage girl standing nearby, watching you. You don’t know who she is; there are many children in the household, but she’s clearly not a servant—her fine clothing and bearing make that obvious.
